@Sandie. I thought you just mentioned these debuted for 1994? Or was that only for Great Britain? This is a GT by that front fascia. '89 only. [SN16]. |

We never got this style of Probe in the UK as an official model (I've seen one imported one, however), though they were sold in mainland Europe. Not sure if the European markets received them for the whole duration of the model. RHD Probe production started in December 1993: Link to "www.autonews.com" so markets like the UK, Ireland and Australia would be 1994+, UK sales as an example started in March 1994. As discussed previously on here the UK models also always had the full width rear lights with the plate mounted on the bumper ( /vehicle_945479-Ford-Probe-1994.html ). They were a poor seller, so were still available into 1998, but probably only produced until 1997 like everywhere else. In late 1998, we then got the Mercury Cougar (badged as a Ford) which was similarly unpopular. -- Last edit: 2020-02-15 20:50:44 |

It was quite unusual for Ford, in that it was a total lemon, and sank without trace here. Haven't seen one for years. |
