Yale of some sort.

Hyster from the 1980s
1980 S120XL: Link to "classified.directindustry.com"
1984 S50XL: http://www.alliedforklifts.com.au/forklifts/thumb_1302.jpg

The smaller S50XL is a better match, but I can't rule out the possibility of a model somewhere in between 50 and 120.

Both of those models don't resemble what is seen here. The rear looks like a Clark/Yale Forklift

The shape of the wheel wells, the shape of the front cowl, the cutout behind the front wheel, the shape of the canopy on the S50XL, the thin diagonal piece of bodywork below the rear canopy support, the gap between where the seat is mounted and the lower body... they all match perfectly.

Show me a Clark or a Yale that's a better match.

Are we looking at the same picture? Those don't match at all.

Any impartial third parties care to vouchsafe an opinion?

By the shorter back and small wheels - something smaller, most probably 50 or 60.
