I did a little research, it seems that a lot of non W12 '01+ modells got these Xenon headlights: http://www.ooyyo.de/gebrauchtwagen/audi-a8-3.3+tdi/deutschland Link to "www.focus.de" Link to "www.cars-directory.net" But there are also some '01 and '02 with the Xenon projector headlights Link to "suchen.mobile.de" So both were Xenon, but the one shown in the image are the "old" reflector based Xenon headlamps. Link to "www.netcarshow.com" The others, back then, were the new projector based Xenon headlamps. http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/1/1268/2221/3168610011_large.jpg So maybe Audi put in new headlapms for '01 and '02 (the usual Xenon reflector low beam headlamps) and Xenon projector headlamps were an option you had to pay extra. But it's just a guess, i'm not certain. |
