My first car was a 1960 Volvo Amazon [P12106] with red reflectors as standard equipment, and they wasn't replaced until 1962 (not on my car, I meant the production line at Volvo). I'd imagine the "F" badge was made for France, though...

The existing red retroreflectors are usually incorporated into these taillights, but other country may not be legal to have these red retroreflector at the taillights itself There are countries that use the extra red retroreflectors are Sweden, France and South Africa.
