Correct. I'll just add in some details. .gif ":)") 1981-1986 GMC K-1500 Wideside It won’t be a 1987 model, as those would have a small rectangular emblem on the tailgate that read "Fuel Injection". Single-point electronic throttle-body fuel injection (TBFI), high pressure fuel lines, electric fuel pumps, electric fuel pump preload/prime control, electronic engine ignition controls, and a new powertrain control module (PCM) with control over the Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission’s turbine torque converter were added for 1987 model rounded-line pickups and utilities. These were referred to as the "smart" rounded-lines. There were also other changes and tweaks for 1987, but those were less impressive, less intrusive. Its outfitted with the top-of-the-line luxury Sierra Classic trim level equipment package. |
