MotoMadness ◊ 2019-03-15 23:45	This is a Kawi KLX650C produced from 1993-96 in USA and a few years longer internationally, this bike along with another rendition and off-road only the klx650R (always green) were produced in direct competition with the Honda Dual Sport & Off-Road Trail line of motorcycles oddly enough the KLR650 and klx650 did coexist however lack of sales led to it being discontinued as it was much more expensive then either the Honda competition and its own brothers.. the KLX650c and R both produced more horsepower and had much better suspension than a KLR 650 with the klx650R taking the lead of all. I have owned all three. Some notable and differentiating identification being the inverted front suspension which is much more modern than the KLR 650 which had a standardupper black accordion type rubber boot, the lack of a fuller wrapping headlight cowl as per the KLR and a more traditional style rear fender as the KLR 650 has an unsightly distinguishable rear fender that is very large and angles downward much more.. not to mention the color scheme which is pretty indicative of the early 90s klx street legal versions. -- Last edit: 2019-03-15 23:54:38
