atom ◊ 2012-03-21 00:26	All I can say is 1947-1949, I'm not sure how to tell the difference of the bumper overriders. Champion by the front fender shape, De Luxe (not Regal) by the missing stainless steel part on the rocker panel. 4-Door Sedan. But better to wait for Commander 57 I'd guess.

Car does not appear to have the fluted, more flamboyant bumper guards of the '47 models and the bumper is not wrap-around as was the case with all of the '49's. atom ◊ 2012-03-21 18:42	I see that someone changed the listing to 'Four-Door Sedan' but it seems to be spelled as '4-door Sedan' in Studebakers official 1948 sales brochure: Link to "oldcarbrochures.org" I know that this is extrem nitpicking, but why would we make up our own spelling when we can just check the brochure and se how it was originally sold?
Commander 57 ◊ 2012-03-21 20:46	The body style should not be listed as part of the model name anyway. We use the built-in classifications for that.
atom ◊ 2012-03-22 00:29	It's not the model name, it's only extra info. I find it convenient to have them listed as 2/4-door sedan when you search the database, it makes it easier to find what you are looking for.
