Callahan ◊ 2006-01-22 14:36	Cool film, cool car, cool setting. Filmed in nineties using cars from eighties. This one is referred to by it's pregnant driver as "the prowler" when it won't start due to a dead battery. It's a 1986 LTD.

Callahan ◊ 2006-03-27 23:54	Both cars used the LTD name, although the bigger one also had the name "Crown-Victoria" added to differentiate between the two lines. Crown-Victoria has outlived the LTD.

Commander 57 ◊ 2009-10-13 22:13	Let's correct that right now. All Crown Victorias from model year 1980 through 1987 used the hood ornament pictured. The photographed car is pre-'86 since no sign of a center-mounted brake light in the rear window. It should be a 1985 as the '83's and '84's had information tags on the front fenders behind the wheels although they may have been removed to apply the police paint. I would call this an '83-'85 for the record.
