Huh, it's a Chilean series - from where was it imported then? AFAIK there was no locally VW-assembling, but I'm not 100% sure. But anyways, it is a T2a with this old front. And the indicators are definitely not original (if it isn't somethig special Brazilian made or so). One possibility is, that the owner has restored this T2 with remanfactured parts. It may be, that the non-original remade front masks for the T2a doesn't have the holes for the indicators. Nowdays there are aftersales market remade body parts for several aircooled VW's available (usually made in Brazil). Original NOS-stuff is gone since a long time and if you find some, it's extremely expensive. |
