In fact, these SC-5 as the SC-1 had never been bodied by Chausson. There were built by Saviem factory. The name Chausson was introduced with Saviem name, when the 2 competitors companies merged in 1959, because a much better image of Chausson (ex leader on the french market of bus) than Saviem at this time. |
