I'll take the Cowley, even with its 1200cc engine and stripped out interior. Takes me back to October 1955 when my Dad took delivery of PUK 394, a brand new Cowley in Empire Green. It cost £702, I still have the handbook, and my Dad wrote the price on the back. My new Mercedes, due for delivery next week, has cost a bit more. |
