Edited by Weasel 1984: I had to edit this post and replace some of the thumbs, as I've regrouped these Fiats under more correct years. One comment, which was originally below this one reffered to the old pics and has been archived. -- Last edit: 2009-04-07 15:59:10 (Weasel1984) |

MR 75, but this won't be used as "code" any more. In the past I thought, that we can use MR 75 as some sort of less or more official code for all bodies made since 1975. But it wouldnt be correct. In factory naming convention the MR 75 was replaced by MR 76 in 1976, in 1977 by MR 77 etc. (they are less known because changes were smaller and less visible). So MR means literally what does it mean - the "model year" (for this we already have the m.y. field). The code will be 115C (same like of the 125p "father" - the Fiat 1500 C). 115C.4 = 1300, 115C.6 = 1500 - sedan (digits for the engines 1600 and 1800 are to find, but they weren't common). 115CF = wagon, 115CD = pick-up. After 1980 sedan was 115CC. Source: Link to "www.motonews.pl" Edit: Unfortunately for the FSO 125p we can use only the [115] - in this time number of combinations and engine variations became bigger. -- Last edit: 2009-07-22 22:33:54 |
