Trying to resemble a 959. |

In fact the body appears to the 959, but the rims are from a 993. I think it might be a replica... |

a real 959 ???? as only about 300 build and most gone to those pesky arabs it would be really really hard to find a one |

Difficult to diagnose. Door handles are correct for 959 although used on other 911s as well; has correct side indicators (also used on 81+ 911s). Agree seems to be [993] wheels, also may have wrong door mirrors - they look brick shape (as 80s 911s) instead of teardrop 959, but impossible to be definite with the shadow. Problem if we change it from 959, it would be only a vague ID so suggest leave as 959 as nothing definite to disprove it. |

DSl you know the 959 becomes 30 years now ???? which means that it would be legal in most countries to do 959 replicas as the intelectual rights expire I could fancy some professional workshops doing high quality replicas based on the 993 Carerra 4 or 964 Carerra 4 and they wouldn't even need to change dashboard either -- Last edit: 2017-05-16 17:11:58 |

It's a replica maybe based on a 993 but perhaps on a cheaper at the time of filming 964 or 3.2. Mirror looks about right to me but a 959 should have an oil flap under the rear window Older 911's used to have one too but during the '70s this stopped. |

81+ side indicators the only genuine thing I can see to date the base version. |
