It is a former Lancia D50 , slightly modified and badged Ferrari in 1956, after Lancia stopped competition in mid 1955 due to fatal accident of his pilot Ascari, and sold all his car to Ferrari. Normally, these modified Lancia were named Ferrari 801 |

D'après le documentaire, ils disent comem toi qu'ils ont vendu la D50 à Ferrari qui l'a reprise sous son nom (Ferrari D50) puis ensuite ils ont fait une nouvelle monoplace avec le moteur de la Lancia (Ferrari 801, voir photo inclus dans le documentaire) |

It is a 1956 Ferrari (Lancia)D50. They were modified (lateral fuel pods removed) and renamed 801 for 1957. |
