Nor it was reliable, it had no prestige either. Is the ligfht blue Fiat 126 worth to list?  Fiat or Polski Fiat? |

Possibly Polski for rectangular plate - I always think of Fiat as square plate??? |

dsl joked I guess.  Both, Fiat, and "Polski" had this plate (or rather place for the wide rear plate) since 1977 m.y., not to mention, that "Polski" was sold in UK as "Italski" Fiat 126 together with Italian made 126 or(!) as "FSM 126p", but in second case, seems it was later - in the mid-80s (at least they printed FSM 126 brochure for UK and made such cars, but maybe they were never exported, some for sure stayed here). |

No - I was not joking this time - just displaying that I don't really know much about 126s...... Am away from home for a couple of weeks so can't check my books, but will check when I get back about UK branding for later Polish-made versions. |

Meanwihle I also checked it once again in Z. Podbielski and in fact the pic there is saying that it could be offered to UK not as "FSM 126", but as "FSM 650", there is also pic of the mentioned brochure (which was perhaps just a single sheet of paper).
