Later sold and re-registered as N349 FKU. Which gives interesting results in the reg sites. Vehicle make: KIRN MOGUL 232 Year of manufacture: 1995 Cylinder capacity: 8272 cc So I retrieved my copy of Buses No. 634 (January 2008), where an article recalled the story of this unique chassis. According to this, the name KIRN derived from the company's director's first names, the chassis was built in 1995, completed in 1996, remained unused then bought by Yorkshire Traction and bodied by East Lancs. It entered service in 2001. |
