pilou ◊ 2011-11-18 10:22	This is not a 1949 DeSoto Custom S-13 but a 1949 DeSoto Diplomat Convertible Coupe ( SP-18).It runs on the short 118 1/2 inch wheelbase , has the Diplomar grille ,a stainless steel trim stripe extending only to the front edge of the front door and lacks the two short trim strips behind the lower front wheel arch.

This is not a 1949 DeSoto Custom S-13 but a 1949 DeSoto Diplomat Convertible Coupe ( SP-18).It runs on the short 118 1/2 inch wheelbase , has the Diplomar grille ,a stainless steel trim stripe extending only to the front edge of the front door and lacks the two short trim strips behind the lower front wheel arch.
