I seriously doubt that the Dammann book specially mention "our" truck, and as the C-20 has the same 127"/3.23 m wheelbase, the same "8 ft." (98"/2.49 m) bed and the same 206"/5.23 m overall length, it's certainly better to take night cub's 4th thumb as clue night cub wrote Ep 1.18: Does it look more like a 10 or like a 20? Personally, I see what seems to be a 10 in this picture. Which would mean, as "long" C-10 pickup with a Stepside bed option, a C1504 Chevrolet code.
