This one is wearing larger headlights compare to the sealed beam headlights in our country.

See the wiper blade position ;)

This is a K-104 (introduced in 1999), not a K-108. The K-108 had indicators in a different location, and wasn't introduced until 2008.

Unfortunately, the plate on this truck is not state-specific (it's a federal plate), and can't be checked.

Federal number plates were issued for all heavy vehicles weighing over 4.5 gross tonnes under the former Federal Interstate Registration Scheme (FIRS) as the format for Federal number plates varied depending on the state and the type of vehicle.

In this case, the vehicle was issued with Federal plates for heavy vehicles in Victoria as the Federal plates for that state had the VA-##AA format with the first letter V representing the State of Victoria and the second letter representing the type of vehicle being registered (in this case, the second letter V representing heavy vehicle).

On the 1st July 2018, all Federal plates had started to cease production and were replaced with plates under the current National Heavy Vehicle Registration Scheme when the FIRS was abolished on the 1st July 2019.

Under the current scheme, the registration plates were issued for heavy vehicles in Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, Northern Territory and South Australia with the AA-##AA format with the words National Heavy Vehicle imprinted on a blue band at the bottom of the plate with the first letter representing the type of vehicle (X for truck and Y for trailer) and the second letter representing the state of issue.

Western Australia is the only state not to adopt current National Heavy Vehicle Registration Scheme and issued heavy vehicles in that state with regular state-based number plates with the standard 1AAA-### format.
