johnfromstaffs ◊ 2011-11-11 09:15	The chrome strip trim on the car indicates that this should be a Ford Cortina Super Estate car 1965+. When the throughflow ventilation was introduced at the 1964 Earl's Court motor show (I went!), this trim was also introduced, replacing the imitation wood, together with the new, wider grille, and the vents on the rear pillar, which the actress is so neatly covering. At the same time the confusing "Consul" wording was dropped from the name as the Consul, and the Consul Classic had by then gone. -- Last edit: 2011-11-11 09:29:06
