DLO is London Dec 1936 to March 1937. It is a Derby Bentley, but the two engine sizes overlap in production at just this period.

From the movie:

"Quite apart from being the most beautiful car you've ever seen, she's fast. 95 miles per hour without even trying. She's absolutely amazing. I've never seen anything like her."

The two Derby's that I can find with DLO prefix are both 4 1/4L. The crossover from 3 1/2 to 4 1/4 was earlier in 1936.

The chassis number seems to have appeared during my last post. B129JY currently has a DYM prefix. I do not understand the UK numbering scheme but I thought registration numbers were fixed.

It depends. If a car is restored and has lost its old plate then it is re-registered. Yet, DYM 800 was first registered in 1937 (if it was re-registered we would expect much later) so I have no idea where B129JY came from.

I believe this car is not B129JY (quite a famous Gurney Nutting 3-Position-Drophead Coupé) but B39JY bodied by Vanden Plas and simply marked as a Drop Head Coupe, and still a 4 1/4L.

This is indeed B39JY, at that time Bentley Motors Trials Car, sold April 1938 to Mr Aisher, and now in the Mulhouse Motor Museum.
