I'm not so sure about that, Jonas: /vehicle_287774-International-Harvester-Transtar.html Here's a Ford H-Series; /vehicle_267562-Ford-H-Series-1961.html ... but I still think this is an IHC Transtar. -- Last edit: 2011-10-20 03:18:53 |

I was not sure either, but I see now it must be an IH. |

Square blinkers of a latest Transtar or of a Transtar II indeed, but the door handle and the handrail are those of a Transtar "I". -- Last edit: 2015-04-06 19:58:15 |

in re of the 'Square blinker', some people referred this as 'lollipop' indicators because so called shaped of them. Depending on the third party supply which it is fitted at the time of assembly, they were sold with either square or round shaped 'lollipop' indicators in North American market. Most states in heavy/medium weight truck category are usually fitted in. |

Just to be sure: "Lollipop blinkers" nickname is for the round ones, isn't it? Or is it used on both shapes, but due to the fat they are on a kind of rod? -- Last edit: 2015-04-06 20:36:53 |

Not entirely clear response (yep to which part? ), but Ok. From the comments read in your link, I understand that "round = Lollipop". And about the Transtar blinkers: their location on this truck is also another clue (among several ones) to say that it is one of the latest "I" models. On earlier models they were located at a higher place. -- Last edit: 2015-04-06 20:50:59 |
