Some type of Mini-Cooper based product? |

I doubt that. I thought about a Honda N600 but it doesn't look quite right. |

I nearly convinced myself about Honda N360/600 as well - size looks right in main in relation to the inmates. |

It was an independent importation, because this model wasn't avaliable to sale in Brazil |

Not a N600 but a P600, the wagon version of the same car, as shown by the rear shape in thumb. |

That would be the first P600 on the site ![]() |

What makes this a P600? The profile in the thumbnail looks identical to the profile of the N600 I used to own (simply called Honda 600 here) honestly I have never even heard of a P600 and can't find any info on the web about it either. -- Last edit: 2011-10-19 10:52:38 |

A shot of the P600 can be seen in the 1968 chapter of the beautiful book "toutes les voitures du monde des années 60" by René Bellu, edited in the 90's, on page 606. I have got another picture taken from another book. It is called there LN360 but existed also in 600cc guise and called either LN600 or (I believe but now I am not so sure about the name) P600. It was built after late 1967 for few years (I don't know untill when buut at least untill late 1969) as it had very low sales. This small wagon, sold by Honda and derived from the N600, had got a slightly more vertical rear shape, compared to that of the sedan version. Everybody is free to believe or not. Please, correct P600 with 1968 Honda LN600. -- Last edit: 2011-10-19 12:00:22 |

As far as I can tell all N-type 600s had lumps in the bonnet, but 360s did not. We have 2 LN360s - /vehicles.php?make=Honda&model=LN360&modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=on - now a 3rd? Also I think this is RHD - not sure I can see a wheel but mirror tilted towards the big bloke, so could be JDM a long way from home. Google pictures has a few 360LNs, RHD and in Japan as if it was never exported. -- Last edit: 2011-10-19 15:08:56 |
