It's one from the legendary deal from the 70ies (1977 IIRC) between Magirus Deutz and AVTOEXPORT, arranged from the top West German and Soviet politicians back then. A few Faun-super heavy truck were delivered, too. Somewhere I have the book from a German press-correspondent about his time in the USSR back then, where we mentioned some details about this deal. So "made for SU" is correct.
