It's indeed a 190E or 190D. It has got the usual wide headlights (the fog lamps are hidden by the hood). It's just equiped with one of these extreme ugly aftermarket show-off W126 SEC shaped engine hoods. Link to "carshine.com.au" Link to "www.goeckel.de" |

No, it's no W201, it's a W124  See the C-pillar. @m.pfaffeneder: these shorter headlights were available for the W124, too, if you have mounted the terrible wannabe-SEC plastic shit. Only the non-required foglights are sitting in the inner lamp-houses, so they can be removed. Had all W124-Benzes the foglight as standard? Or was it similar to the VW Passat 32B, where you had to pay extra charge to get them. Otherwise there was an empty plastic casing without bulb and wiring. |

Low roofline suggests indeed an Italian conversion and the SEC update may have been carried out by the coachbuilder as well - that's all I can tell from here. Edit: According to these pictures it's a coachwork by Pilato. -- Last edit: 2020-09-05 01:05:13 |
