European Ford? The muffler on the grille is confusing, but I'm wondering about 1971+ Cortina Mk3 GXL if the roofline matches or perhaps (Taunus) 26M. In each case the options for where assembled are wide open. |

Perhaps locally assembled Ford Taunus TC? |

Probably a Cortina Mk 3 made by Hyundai: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyundai_Motor_Company#History /vehicle_339384-Hyundai-Cortina-1971.html |

More info: 1968: Hyundai Motor Co. founded, and established licensing agreement with Ford Motor Company; Hyundai Cortina, Hyundai Ford 20M, Hyundai Ford D-series, and Hyundai Ford DK-Series launched. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automotive_industry_in_South_Korea . Also /vehicle_339346-Hyundai-20M-P7b-1969.html and http://rachelkso.blogspot.com/2008/09/samsung-transportation-museum.html with a photo of the Hyundai 20M. Given the up-curve at bumper ends I think this could be 20M - Cortina was straight. -- Last edit: 2013-01-21 01:35:22 |

Some versions of the hyundai cortina mk3 used the taunus style of up-curve bumper mentioned above as well as a different style grille with either square or twin lamps, (73/74 models ? if i remember correctly) |

Agreed now this is a Cortina with Korean grille/bumper - see example in left of /vehicle_823291-Hyundai-Ford-Cortina-1972.html |
