One of the last Leylands? |

Not quite; this Bathgate cab was succeeded by the Roadtrain cab. |

Sign in background does not look UK - is this set in Aus and a local assembly? |

The sign is not a real Australian one, because it says "16 FEET". Australian road signs use metric measurements. I think it's a bad fake British sign. Also, the spacing on the number plate is wrong. There shouldn't be any space between 735 and S. -- Last edit: 2011-09-19 12:43:01 |

This looks like an old Reiver: /vehicle_291625-Leyland-Reiver-1979.html |

From Gag's links on main page "Some more behind the scenes videos with seventies and eighties cars, mostly on fake British locations in Australia. Watch the seventh and eighth videos down. http://www.yvonnestrahovski.fr/filmthekillerelite.htm " this is definitely an Aus location - one of the videos has a short clip of the Aus Mini crashing into it. Question is now whether this was UK made or assembled in Aus, possibly under a local name? |

@Ddey65: close but no cigar; Reivers were six-wheelers. I think this is a Boxer, like http://bribbareetruckwreckers.com.au/Images/Leyland%20Boxer%20%282%29.jpg (which is from Oz). |

Oh. If that's the same vehicle it's a Reiver -- Last edit: 2011-11-12 14:57:13 |

Useful to have this new main pic, but can we have the old one back as a thumb because most of these comments do not make sense without it. |
