The chassis number story seems to be that Pierre Noblet bought his 2nd Tdf in Jan 58, trading in his first March 1957 car - chassis 0619GT (red). To avoid taxes for Noblet, the Ferrari factory renumbered the new car - 0805GT (grey) - as the older one - 0619GT. His old one then became 0805GT - http://www.barchetta.cc/english/all.ferraris/detail/0619GT.250GT.TdF.htm , http://www.barchetta.cc/english/all.ferraris/detail/0805gt.250gt.tdf.htm . If the details are correct this is the earlier car. |
