It's got the impact bumper of a 73, I'm not sure if it's a Colony Park, but the non-wood sided Mercury Marquis wag was much rarer, with only about a tenth sold. |

Don't think it has the wood but with all the dust it's hard to tell. |

It would have to be a Colony Park with the Marquis front end. The plain sided wagons were Montereys until 1974, and did not have the hidden headlights. This is either a 1973 or 1974 model. |

^That's not true; from 70-74 Mercury had three full-size wagons the Monterey, the Marquis, (essentially the Colony Park without wood, but with concealed headlamps) and the Colony Park (technically in the Marquis Brougham line) And the grill of the 74 is noticeably different, it's a 73. -- Last edit: 2011-08-13 21:21:06 |

If it is a regular Marquis wagon, then it's extremely rare. Only 2300 made that year compared to 23,000 Colony Parks and 6900 Monterey Wagons. Here another pic of the wagon:![]() -- Last edit: 2011-08-24 04:30:20 |
