That is unquestionably a first generation Taurus (I'm not enough of an anorak to know that it's an '86-'88, but it's definitely an older one). Since the second generation didn't look that different from the first, it would've been fairly easy to pass off (to the public that doesn't really know or care) an older Taurus as a brand new one, and save a bit of money. |

Definitely 1986-1988 by the headlamps/turn signals/front bumper/chrome only on the grille. I agree with everything you said though about a normal person not knowing how old it was. I knew right away when I say the episode. Hollywood thought they could fool us. |
