Not every car with a mirror on the right side has the steering wheel there, too  Except in Sweden, where a right mirror was mandatory, it was available as an optional extra. Or the car has a trailer coupling. In this case is (at least in Germany) a right mirror mandatory. |

Somehow the front of the Charleston looks too long... I suspect a transformation: 2CV body on a Ami Super chassis (the one with the flat-four GS engine). A friend of mine used to have such a mongrel - it was extremely fast (for a 2CV, will say). |

Car magazine converted a 2CV in the 80s with an Ami Super engine - they had great fun with it for a few months until it burnt out on the M4 after setting fire to one of the cardboard heater tubes. |
