I think Lancia Appia GTE Zagato. Charakter name is Giulia |

Rounded headlights with transparent covers, placed in a black home with a chrome frame, could look like the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale Link to "www.conceptcarz.com" , but this is just my idea. |

Wait till a toy version or something is out, then we'll see his model. |

Jag E-Type... |

Looks somewhat like one of the 60s Chevrolet Corvette Concepts. |

I think it tries to be a generic British Sports car. Is from the British Intelligence and called "Leyland" (or Leland?). |
◊ 2011-07-21 00:58 |
the grille reminded me of an Austin Healey for some reason... |

He dóes have that E-type "feel" to it, if you guys know what I mean. The inward-bended side, the long nose... wheels also look very british... |

Definitely E-Type, and the name seems to be a reference to British Leyland, former owner of Jaguar Cars (1966-84), which the E-Type was built in that time (not all, just '66-'75 models). |
◊ 2011-08-04 11:41 |
I too do think its an E-Type |
◊ 2011-08-08 11:54 |
Definitely E-Type |

hes a Lotus elete with an Austin healey grill. |

A prototype of his diecast is also here: Link to "www.takefiveaday.com" |
◊ 2011-08-17 01:54 |
The link ^ shows it's just a very badly drawn E-type by the kid who's in the office for a week on work experience. Standards have slipped, but at least everyone can stop worrying about it. -- Last edit: 2011-08-17 13:36:09 |

It is a Lotus elite. |
◊ 2011-08-21 13:34 |
Like some of you guys, I believe it's a Jaguar E-Type. But the front grill is not the same. |

1972 Jaguar E Type Hard top |
AMC man ◊ 2011-09-04 18:34 |
Jaguar e types dont have sutch a cab configuration so once agin it is a Lotus elite with an Austin Healey grill. |

Maybe these pictures will change your mind Link to "www.dreamroad.us" Link to "photos.classicandperformancecar.com" |
AMC man ◊ 2011-09-16 14:30 |
I am still going for a Lotus Elite because Jaguar e types dont have vent windows like Leland turbo has. |
◊ 2011-09-16 14:47 |
@AMCman - look at the CA_NES link above to Link to "www.takefiveaday.com" - the body is clearly E-type and nothing like Elite, but as usual the detail is a total mess and useless. |

I've put together an image of different Jags that Leland resembles...make your own choice: http://imageshack.us/f/36/lelandcomparisons.jpg -- Last edit: 2011-09-24 05:25:06 |

Also, here's Corgi's 60's E-Type with Leland's eyes inserted behind the windshield: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/3/lelandcustomset.jpg |

I would agree now that he looks like those jaguar E types but the grill is not the same and and looks more like an Austin Healey grill and the chrome stripe on the hood looks closer to the Jaguar xk 150 so I guess Leland Turbo could be a hybrid between a jaguar e type a Jaguar xk 150 and an Austin Healey. |
◊ 2011-09-26 07:17 |
Wow, he does look a lot like the hardtop Austin Healeys without front bumpers (racing models?). With that front end, he's almost an Austin roadster with Jag E-Type headlights. I couldn't find a red one online that didn't have a white top, and most have front bumpers, but there are a few that look a lot like Leland! |
◊ 2011-09-27 21:06 |
OK...here's Leland as a combo Austin Healy and Jaguar E-Type! http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/220/lelandaustinjagcombo.jpg |
◊ 2011-10-22 17:06 |
Indeed when seeing the rest of the car it looks like a E-Type. |

1953 Corvette? |

1903 De Dion Bouton? Greyhound coach? Austin Allegro? Duesenberg SJ? |

E-Type |

According to the script, he is a British Leyland, that is at least what his name implies. |
◊ 2021-09-24 18:01 |
Your very right, I knew his name was a reference to the British Leyland company. Agent Leyland Turbo is definitely a Jaguar E type with a custom chrome grill for the movie. Long live Agent Leyland Turbo, he was one of my favorite characters . -- Last edit: 2021-09-25 18:13:35 |

I know it looks like Corvette, but this car also speaks "Made for Movie" Jaguar E Type. -- Last edit: 2023-10-16 21:10:36 |
