From stronghold's shots, this Vespa appears to be 1958/59 Vespa Clubman 150 (single, not dual seat) with fitted 'after market' chromed side panels. In 1966 I ran a well-worn 152/L2, 879 DPJ (Surrey) a fairly similar model from Piaggio, with different handlebar/gear shift design. I remember shopping for parts in Sutton one Saturday afternoon while a certain football final was in progress. (Indeed, it was Harold, the store man, who pointed out the differences between those two models). |
