As the DVLA registration date is 01-11-1979 it might be (i) a re-registration with a cherished/low number plate, or (ii) an orphan which cluttered up a showroom for nearly 2 years, or even (iii) a JDM import - seems unlikely anyone would really make the effort for a shopping trolley like this, but the wing mirror looks a bit JDM and not the format I'd expect in UK.
