nzcarnerd ◊ 2011-06-20 03:49	V2000 was a JDM model I think, as we saw some as imports. There was a V3000 assembled and sold here in NZ in the 1980s. I think both models used variations of the same V6 engine. It filled a gap in the market until the bigger Diamante and its variations came along. Nowadays more than half of all cars on the road here in NZ are secondhand from Japan so our fleet looks a bit like that of Russia. I have a VW Golf that is ex-Japan. Since the demise of local assembly in the mid 1990s there are now no NZ-specific models.
