I only remember a column change being fitted. (I guess it was based on the 4-cylinder 1952 Wyvern - 3-speed gearbox). |

According to Wikipedia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bedford_CA ) they all had column changes. I only drove one once, and although I was used to unusually good floor changes (Minor 1000, A40 Mk.I) I found the column change quite acceptable. |
