ingo ◊ 2011-06-13 19:44	No banana vents, flat front, elephant foot-taillights, colour "leuchtorange", not the 1968-1973 "Sparkäfer"-version, so it's a 1974 1200 indeed. The vent-less engine lid came shortly later. Or it was replaced by the owner.

tore-40 ◊ 2012-12-29 08:36	Yes I think it's a 1200 but with a 1.3l engine called '1200S', they had vents in the lid. Also there was a 1.6l with 'LS'-trim, but 'L'/'LS' were with chrome bumpers.
