according to the "making of" book "captain corellis mandolin, the illustrated film companion", its an original WW2 Italian Moto Guzzi Alce..sourced from the same Italian dealer as the Fiat staff car...but then again, the same book also lists the PAK40 equipped postwar Czech OT halftrack as an original WW2 German vehicle (which obviously its not). |
