So many people call the Series 62 "Eldorado" ;) (they look quite similar, it is just few trim details and price that changes, if I am correct)

In 1954, the Cadillac "Eldorado" had a large, ribbed, aluminum panel along the lower rear fenders. I have enlarged this image and lightened it up, but still I see nothing that resembles that special "Eldorado" trim. Is this the only imagte you have, antp?

The "Eldorado" model has the name "Eldorado" spelled out in script between the branches of the "V" on the trunk lid. This car has the traditional Cadillac crest in that position; therefore, it is a "Series 62" convertible for sure. Many people associate the name "Eldorado" with any convertible Cadillac; not surprising, therefore, that "Bebert" (Jean-Paul Belmondo) called it that.

"Bebel", not "Bebert" :D

I rented the movie from "Netflix" and watched it again last night. Definitely a "Series 62" convertible coupe from 1954. "Bebel" (Jean-Paul Belmondo) does indeed call it an "Eldorado" (a common mistake among non-cognoscenti with convertible Cadillacs of this era).
