4x4peru ◊ 2011-05-31 18:48	AM General AM715. After the US Army M715 contract expired AM General continued to build a softer, cheaper version with civilian front sheet metal and a lower GVWR. A second later version was also built with rectangular headlights and optional civilian bed, the AM720.
CapnSpaulding ◊ 2015-03-28 00:09	i dont know why this is listed in the AM GENERAL category,its not an AM GENERAL - what it is is a jeep gladiator modified for the military by KAISER and its not built in 1979 but was built in the late 60's, military designation is M-715.and no they didnt build them with civilian front ends after the military stopped using them,the one pictured has just had the front fenders replaced for some reason,they will fit off of pickups,cherokee's and wagoneers
