I like these. There's one that roams around here all the time. It was a former US Mail truck, with the faded remains of "US Mail" on the side of the box on the back. And yes, it's a 338.

You're right. Thanks for the information! I didn't know that. Then I did some research and found out that they actually have two plants in the USA alone. The Canadian plant, however, exists indeed http://www.hinocanada.com/about_en.html but I was still wrong as its capacity is far too small to source the whole North American market.

...for the US market, all class 4-7 are locally built
...for the Canadian market, all class 5-7 are locally built, and class 4 are sourced from the US?
