Golf Plus ? Touran ? All these cars look the same |

True. They are getting even worse. CF the new Jetta and the new Passat. Golf Plus with the facelift I think. |

Indeed. I'd say rather 2nd generation, 2010+ Touran GP2 due to the "nose", although I can't see any "rails" on the roof. |

I'd say Golf Plus. On the Touran, the headlights rise more towards the A-pillar: http://autorideconcept.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/2011-VW-Touran-1.jpg The Golf Plus headlights match the ones on this: http://www.speedheads.de/artikelbilder/2008/VWGolfPlus5.jpg Also, if it was a Touran, wouldn't it be as high as the Scénic to the left of it? It looks lower than the Scénic to me. |

Deltagolf: I was just guessing, and I wouldn't be surprised if I'm wrong. The Golf Plus in the link you posted has indeed matching headlights-but the shape of the bumper with the integrated lights doesn't seem to fit. Height seems to fit for a Touran; just look at the size of the windscreen and forget the Scénic for a moment. The only thing that speaks against Touran are the missing "rails" on the roof. But then again, the car in your 2nd light has them too. The car on the picture, however, doesn't have them. Do you happen to know whether the were standard or optional? I found a picture of the current Touran where at least the "nose" seems to fit: Link to "de.wikipedia.org" Lights in the bumper- which the car in question doesn't have- seems to be an option. Still, I don't know what to do with those "rails". |

I'm not sure about if the roof rails are standard or optional, but maybe they're just not visible on this picture against the light-coloured background, since they mostly seem to be chromed or painted in light gray. The foglights in the bumper indeed seem to be optional: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Golf_Plus.JPG I still think this is a Golf Plus, to me it looks like the headlights on the Touran have a slightly more triangular shape: Link to "www.volkswagen.fi" |

on www.volkswagen.fr the roof rails are optional for both models anyway cf this pic posted on the Scenic page, the VW is lower: -- Last edit: 2011-05-18 17:48:22 |
