Although the red looks like Rover's Nightfire Red, it is in fact a deeper Cherry Red. The second and more noticeable difference is the hood. Lamm's has plastic rear side windows whereas Rover have used unique wind down glass windows - no other Mini has wind down rear windows! Ignore the bit about 75 made and the colour. That only refers to the UK market Special edition one from 1991/92. There were more built by LAMM: http://www.aronline.co.uk/blogs/cars/mini-classic/mini-convertibles/ and Link to "www.aronline.co.uk" from between 1988 and 1994. As the 1993-96 Tickford/Karmann convertibles had larger rear windows (without the strip of Hood below) should this one not be a LAMM as it has a strip of hood below the rear window? -- Last edit: 2016-08-19 16:58:02
dsl ◊ 2019-04-09 19:40	Agree it probably is a LAMM, but it does not have 1986+ side indicators. LAMM started converting in 1988, and apart from the 1991 batch commissioned by Rover (75 made, all RHD) did several (70?) one-offs on demand of their own - assorted colours and specs. Unclear if they chopped any earlier examples if someone asked them to, but that's the likely situation here, probably using a 1985 Mayfair.
