Very wrong identification! The bus (a brighter shot below)can't be a TDH 5101 - 400 5101's built exclusively for New York City in 1948 met with the crusher in the early 60's except for one that is preserved in the MTA Museum fleet. The pictured bus is a wide body at 102 inches whereas the 5101 was narrow at 96 inches - additionally, the 5101 had a 14inch blank area between the driver's window and the first passenger window to compensate for the 'double stream' front passenger door on the opposite side (see 5101 photo also below). From the part of the bus that's photographed no expert (not even me!) could tell you exactly what model it was except to say that it would have to have been a 5103, 5105 or a 4801. And finally as Jay Leno would say; Greyhound's motto used to be 'Leave the Driving to Us' - well mine is; leave these questionable ID's of GM Old Looks to me!
