I think that you are correct in saying that this is a SARA. The early cars, of which this appears to be one, were 1,100cc two seaters, and it looks as if one of these is pictured above. The German link shows front wheel brakes, but says 1922; my source book says no cars before 1923 and no fwb before 1925. Hey-ho - here we go with a nice conflict. The last cars were 1,800cc six cylinder four seaters, with two semi elliptic front springs rather than a single transverse as in the early car. All had finished by 1930. Shall we call this a 1923 SARA 1,100? |
