The worker's trailer on the right is German. Style, colour and the 25 km/h-plate, so 100%. The colour is identical with the "leuchtorange" [L20B] of Volkswagen.

Looks very original this bike , they only had that two tone colour tank scheme for one year after this it was the famous 'scallops' and when repainted most people did scallops as much prettier.

stronghold wrote again this pic is from series titles (i've not seen it in any episodes I've seen)

2491tj wrote It belongs to the character "Barry", later gets destroyed by fire in one of the last "German" episodes.Barry has it in the living hut, and is doing something with petrol, and it catches fire, burns the hut down, and the characters lose all their belongings, i think the first series ends when , due to the fire, they all turn up at the hotel room of Dennis whos knocking off the German secretary.

I do know the history of this motorbike, up to a point.
I run a site about Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and asked Tim Spall's wife Shane what happened to it.
Here is what she told me - “He bought the bike, fell off broke his wrist & sold it to Tim Woodward who had it nicked out of his garden.” It didn't get destroyed in the fire on screen as we saw in the last episode of series 1, but where it is now....unknown. Lee
