According to the California Smog Test site, the plate belongs to an '84 Corvette. |

2QCE265 is a common California prop plate. On this page: /vehicle_253236-Ford-Taurus-2000.html Jettalover mentions that the letter "Q" isn't used as the first or third letter in the three-letter group on California plates. I reply that he is correct according to the California Department of Motor Vehicles website: http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/plates/standardplates.htm I speculate that someone at the California Bureau of Automotive Repair made a typo when entering the information. In addition, the plate is a "script" base. It was first issued with the 3GAA-series. Other cars that have used the 2QCE265 prop plate: /vehicle_230496-Ford-Crown-Victoria-P71-2000.html /vehicle_238587-Volvo-240-244-1986.html -- Last edit: 2011-04-27 10:56:15 |
