dsl ◊ 2015-07-25 23:11	Agreed. Aus assembled Morris Mini Cooper [ADO50] (997cc 1962-63, 998cc 1963-65) and Morris Mini Cooper S [YDO6] (1965-70, 1275cc). Then went straight to Clubman-fronted 1275s as Morris then Leyland with lots of rapid model name changes.

In Australia, I believe they were sold under the Morris (and later Leyland) brand, not Austin.

Agreed. Aus assembled Morris Mini Cooper [ADO50] (997cc 1962-63, 998cc 1963-65) and Morris Mini Cooper S [YDO6] (1965-70, 1275cc). Then went straight to Clubman-fronted 1275s as Morris then Leyland with lots of rapid model name changes.
