dsl ◊ 2011-03-25 22:19	For a UK setting and car, I'd say XL trim with optional vinyl roof and 1973 for a white vinyl choice. Australian car would be similar but XL name may not apply.
dsl ◊ 2011-03-26 15:20	Cortina Mk3 introduced to Aus as Cortina [TC] in 1972. Can't find much detail but engines were 2-litre ohc Pinto-based 4 cyl - nothing smaller - and then 3.9 and 4.1 6 cyls both of which had bonnet bulge). XL badge was used for 4cyl model - /vehicle_217914-Ford-Cortina-TC-1971.html - so suggest this is 1972 Cortina XL [TC].
