Wow. Striking green and black 2-tone! (Or is it 2-tone green?) -- Last edit: 2011-03-15 17:03:37 |

Did you mean vinyl roof? |

Yes. On my monitor I can't tell if the roof is black or very dark green. Either way, it's a beautiful combination. (Wish cars were still two-toned that way.) |

You know what I mean. I get bored of all black and dark grey interiors with highlihts like fake wood/fake carbon/faked aluminum.... |

I agree. And if I see one more monotone silver car...... |

I agree nightrider about interior colors that aren't offered anymore. My '91 Integra has blue upholstry/dashboard/steering wheel. My parents' '92 Taurus was equipped the same way. If you buy a car that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars, you can have it done like it was done in the past. |

This car is an interesting continuity error in the movie. From dialogue we learn Sarah died in 1966 while at the wheel of her vehicle. But the model used in the shooting was this 1968 Fleetwood. In the novel that the movie is based on, the year of death was 1972. Also, the sound effects for the motor seem off to me. I remember the motor and exhaust being much quieter. According to this site, patented quiet exhaust was introduced in the 66 model. Can anyone explain the continuity errors? -- Last edit: 2014-10-12 13:20:57 |
